About re:wake

Why re:wake exists, and what it isn't trying to be.

I'm Andreas, and re:wake is where my smaller projects live.

Not every idea needs its own website to be shared. Some ideas are just small tools that solve one problem and then get out of the way. Building a whole separate site around something like that always felt like overkill. So instead these projects share a home here, each one running under its own rewake.org subdomain.

Not every project here has to do just one thing, but every project has to earn its keep: no accounts unless the tool actually needs to remember something about you, no frameworks bolted on for the sake of it, and no feature creep that doesn't serve the people using it.

Everything under the re:wake umbrella follows the same rule: stay small and useful. Once a project needs its own brand, team, or business model, it's outgrown re:wake and deserves a home of its own.

This is a solo project, built and maintained in spare time, so don't expect a roadmap or a changelog. Just tools I wanted to exist, made the way I think small software should be made.
